The National Safety Council Defensive Driving Course provide parents and adult drivers with the knowledge and techniques to prevent vehicular collisions and traffic violations. The classroom instructions focus on collision-avoidance techniques and addresses common driving mistakes that can result in dangerous accidents. It also teaches drivers how to adjust driving habits to eliminate costly moving violations.

 

The course is six to eight hours long and helps adults and parent participants recognize road hazards, avoid collisions in a variety of driving situations and practice safe and legal driving behavior. The course is certified by the National Safety Council (NSC). The program meets Florida Highway Department of Motor Vehicle recommendations.

Who would benefit: Experienced licensed drivers; organizations that want a driver improvement course for their employees; and traffic violators required to take a driver improvement course by the court?
